The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Friday, October 16 reveals Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) will make a twisted demand of Sharon Newman (Sharon Case).
Also coming up, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) wedding ceremony will get underway. Plus, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will be furious.
Y&R spoilers tease the Abbott ladies will gather in the living room at home. They’ll all look gorgeous and be dressed in 1920s garb. Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) will ask Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) if she’s still concerned about the marriage.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Guests Begin To Arrive For Billy And Sally’s Wedding
Longtime viewers of the show will recall that Ashley can be a bit of a Debbie downer at times. She’ll tell her daughter, Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) and Diane Abbott (Susan Jenkins) she can’t help but wonder how Billy will handle it if the marriage implodes.
Diane will tell Ashley she thinks she’ll come around, after all, she’s still there. Traci will say she hopes she doesn’t bring her reservations to the festivities. “Of course not!” Ashley will reply. But with Sally and Billy’s pasts, she thinks it’s normal to have a modicum of concern about the marriage.
At the Athletic Club, Sally and Coco Spectra (Ashley Campbell) will stand in front of a mirror, looking at themselves. “We’ve come a long way from our carny days,” Sally will say to her little sis. There’ll be a knock on the door and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will walk in.
Downstairs, guest will start arriving, including Billy’s kids Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind) and Katie Abbott (Sienna Mercury). Billy will spot Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and say he’s glad he could make it. He’ll head upstairs, knock on Sally’s door and ask Audra to give her a note that he wants her to read just before she walks downstairs.
Back downstairs, Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) will ask Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) to dive when Sally throws the bouquet. He wants to improve Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) chances of catching it. Victoria will tell him not to worry, she doesn’t want to be anywhere near that bouquet.
Traci, Ashley, Diane and Abby will arrive and Traci will rush over to Lily and Cane. She’ll thank Traci for encouraging her to tell Cane about her test results. Lily will walk away and Traci will tell Cane she’s grateful Lily has him by her side.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Billy’s Teary Eyed As Sally Makes Her Entrance
The wedding will begin, Billy will walk in, followed by Chelsea, Coco and Audra. Then the bride will make her grand entrance. Billy will be teary-eyed, as Sally appears, looking stunning. But will this wedding go off without a hitch?
At Sharon’s place, she and Nick will watch Matt as he sleeps on her couch. Sharon will say she’s called the clinic but she also worries which version of Matt is going to wake up. Nick will say the dangerous side of him is still in there and he’ll never willingly admit himself to a clinic. He just wants the creep out of their lives for good.
“Nick’s right, ” Matt will say, sitting up. “You want me out of your life for good, there’s only one way that’s gonna happen.” Matt will ask Sharon if it’s possible a guy like him can ever be normal and she’ll say it is. “I need help in a safe place like where Sharon was talking about.” But he has one condition. Matt wants Sharon to be his therapist. Understandably, Nick will flip. “Are you kidding me, how twisted are you?” he’ll ask. “You raped her.”
Sharon will say once he’s admitted to the clinic they can discuss it. But Matt will tell her if she turns him down it’s a deal breaker. He’ll go into another room to clean himself up. “Sharon, no,” Nick will say. She’ll tell him she wouldn’t just be doing it for him, she’d be doing it for them too. It’s the one thing she know that would keep their family safe.
Finally, Matt will walk back in and Sharon will agree to be his therapist. But she has her own condition. “You need to be prepared for the possibility I may not be able to help you,” Sharon will tell Matt. In which case, he’d need another therapist. So Matt will agree to it. But is Sharon making a huge mistake?
